MUSIC AND ART
At Koala Cubs, children are provided a wide variety of materials to explore. Children sing and dance with joy throughout each day.
MATH AND SCIENCE
We learn math and science through varies planned activities.
LITERACY DEVELOPMENT
Children begin a rich literacy development by using their own words in telling daily news and stories.
MOTOR DEVELOPMENT
Koala Cubs provides opportunities for running, climbing, crawling, and pedaling activities that help children’s bodies grow stronger.

Our Infant curriculum and daily schedule are based on the individual needs of each child. Our low ratios enable teachers to develop strong, supportive relationships with each child and his family. Developmental needs we focus on in this group.
- Motor skill development : grasping, clutching, movement
- Sensory development :touching, feeling, listening, holding
- Social and emotional development: playing, cuddling, singing, saying rhymes
- We do not use any type of restrictive devices such as swings or bouncers seats, bumpos ect..
- Each infant is placed in their own labled bed, beds are not shared
- Large classroom for moving around
- Small group size to ensure more individual attention
- Individual and group play
In the toddler classroom, our teachers develop our curriculum based on the interests, joys, and needs of our students. Learning focuses on

- Developing self-help skills such as toileting, potty training, hand-washing and feeding
The Early Pre- K program (3s) is an exciting time of social and individual development for young children. Our teachers develop our curriculum based on the interests, joys, and needs of our students.
In our Pre-K program the creation of an emergent curriculum, our understanding of children guides our decision making.
Our School-Age program provides a safe and secure transportation to and from area school. After school we offer a clean and friendly environment with plenty of opportunities to learn and have fun.
Koala Cubs Learning Center is a located in Pasadena Texas, where we provide care and education opportunities for infants, toddlers, PreK and After-schoolers.
